Scalegone Washing Machine Cleaner Powder
Scalegone Washing Machine Cleaner Powder | Descaling Agent for Front Load and Top Load
Scalegone is a descaling powder and washing machine cleaner made to remove limescale, detergent residue and odour from the drum and tub of your machine. Hard water leaves mineral deposits behind after every wash, and detergent slowly builds up in places you cannot reach by hand. Scalegone dissolves both, so the machine stays hygienic and keeps washing the way it did when it was new.
What Scalegone Does Inside Your Machine
A monthly clean takes care of the four problems that quietly reduce a washing machine’s performance.
- Descaling: Effectively dissolves hard limescale and mineral deposits, preventing buildup on the machine’s internal components.
- Detergent residue removal: Cleans away stuck on detergent and soap scum that reduce machine efficiency.
- Odour elimination: Removes unpleasant odours and leaves a fresh scent, so clothes come out smelling clean.
- Hygiene and sanitation: Helps kill bacteria and sanitise the drum and tub.
- Improved performance: Increases the effectiveness of your detergent and keeps the machine running efficiently.
- Extended lifespan: Regular use maintains performance and prolongs the life of the appliance.
Works With Every Fully Automatic Machine
You do not need a separate product for each machine type at home. Scalegone is designed for all fully automatic front load and top load washing machines, which makes it suitable for the whole range of popular Indian brands and models.
How to Use Scalegone
The full cycle takes under an hour and needs nothing more than hot water and an empty machine.
- Step 1, load the powder: Place one packet of Scalegone into the detergent tray or directly into the wash tub of an empty machine.
- Step 2, run the first cycle: Run the machine with hot water at around 45 to 50 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes.
- Step 3, soak: Switch the machine off and let the solution sit so it can loosen the scale and residue.
- Step 4, run again: Start the machine for another 15 minute cycle.
- Step 5, rinse: Drain the water, then run the machine once with fresh water to flush out loosened scale and any remaining residue.
How Often to Use It
Use Scalegone once a month in an empty machine. Monthly cleaning stops scale from hardening on the heating element and drum, which is far easier than removing a buildup that has collected over a year. If you live in a hard water area or run multiple loads every day, the monthly routine matters even more.
Good to Know
- Empty machine only: Never run the cleaning cycle with clothes inside.
- Hot water matters: Warm water dissolves scale far better than a cold cycle, so keep the temperature in the recommended range.
- Store it dry: Keep the packet sealed in a dry place and away from children.
